Sexual Education Consulting: From Maieutics to Workshops

I like asking myself questions. I always have.
That’s how my games were born: from a question.
What if we could break the taboo of menstruation through a game?
What if all the questions that girls asked me during workshops became cards to play and learn with?

This attitude of questioning is the same one I bring into my consulting work.
And yesterday I experienced a special moment: my first consulting session in Italian. A new step in a path I’ve been cultivating for years, supporting educators in designing workshops and educational journeys.

My method: starting from questions

n my consulting, I never bring “ready-made recipes” or definitive answers.
I believe every educational context is unique, and that educators already hold many of the insights they need.
My role is to help those insights emerge, a bit like in Socratic maieutics.

👉 Some guiding principles:

👂🏼Listening without rushing: solutions often arise when there is space to share freely.

Turning doubts into possibilities: every question can spark a new activity.

🧠🧠Co-creating: not giving top-down answers, but building tools and paths together.

🔬Experimenting: encouraging prototypes, games, and simple activities to test right away.

A concrete example

In yesterday’s session, I worked with a professional who is designing a workshop for young girls about menstruation.
It was powerful to see how, with the right questions, new ideas and concrete activities emerged.
For me, it’s an honor to support projects that speak about body, growth, and awareness.

For me, sex educational consulting means opening questions rather than closing them.
It’s a practice that requires trust, listening, and a genuine willingness to create together.

If you are imagining a workshop or educational path and would like someone to help you bring your ideas to light, I’d be glad to accompany you. 🌱
